White House reacts to Santorum’s comments about Malia Obama
Former Pennsylvania senator Rick Santorum criticized President Barack Obama
for allowing his 13-year-old daughter to visit Mexico this week.
President Barack Obama‘s deputy campaign manager, Stephanie Cutter, said she was shocked that Republican presidential hopeful and former Pennsylvania Rick Santorum had commented upon Malia Obama’s school trip to Mexico, pointing out that candidates’ children should not become part of the election campaign.

The Obama administration refused to approve the construction of the Keystone XL oil pipeline on Wednesday night. Rumors that the project would be rejected started surfacing on Wednesday morning, prompting many Republicans to accuse President Obama of putting his re-election ahead of American jobs.
