Tennessee senator drops Gingrich, backs Santorum
Sen. Stacey Campfield (R-Tenn.) announced on Saturday that he was resigning as co-chairman of former House speaker Newt Gingrich‘s campaign in the Volunteer State. The Knoxville senator also confirmed that he would back former Pennsylvania senator Rick Santorum instead.
