Some members of the Romney team do not appear to have been fully briefed about the former Massachusetts governor’s budget plan. For the second time in as many days, two senior members of the Romney camp have been unable to confirm when the presumptive Republican nominee was planning to balance the federal budget.

The latest CNN / Time telephone poll released on Wednesday shows that Rick Santorum is now in third place in the state of Iowa, behind former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney and Texas Congressman Ron Paul. However, despite his surge in the Hawkeye State, the former Pennsylvania senator acknowledges that his team has “a lot of work to do.”

Vice President Joe Biden is not ruling out seeking the presidency in 2016. For the time being though, the 68-year-old Democrat says that his main task is to get President Barack Obama re-elected.

In a CNN interview broadcast on Sunday, Mr. Biden revealed that he was in fine form and that he would make up his mind at a later stage.
